Jennifer Diserio



For as long as she can remember, Jennifer Diserio always wanted to be a nurse. She made that dream a reality by earning a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from West Virginia Wesleyan College, then a Masters in Nursing from the University of Pittsburgh. At Pitt, she also earned her credentials as a Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner.

Jennifer grew up in a large Italian family in West Virginia, the second of four children, and was active in gymnastics, swimming, and cheering. Her favorite childhood toy was her Easy-Bake Oven — from which, she says, her parents endured lots of easy-bake toast.

She learned to decorate cakes at a young age, and hopes to one day learn even more and put those skills to work on a wedding cake. Besides cooking and baking, Jennifer loves biking on the Montour Trail, walking her Jack Russell puppy, reading mystery novels, attending Pittsburgh & WVU sporting events, and traveling.

EasyBakeHer bucket list for travel includes Italy, Ireland, France, Fuji, Bermuda, and Switzerland, as well as lots of places in the U.S. like the jazz festival in Chicago, the food festival in Vail, Colorado, and the hot air balloon festival in Sante Fe, New Mexico. (The list, she says, “go on and on…”)

Jennifer’s favorite places to “play” in Pittsburgh are atop Mt. Washington, on the many downtown bike trails, at Narcisi Winery, and at all of the city’s great sporting venues.

Jennifer currently live in Moon Township, and loves spending time with her dog, boyfriend, friends, and family.
