The Bridge is Back!

After two years of (im)patiently waiting, the new Greenfield Bridge is ready to open! Sounds like a reason to celebrate!

So, on Saturday, October 14th, the City of Pittsburgh, the Greenfield Community Association, and a whole lot of other awesome sponsors are throwing The Bridge is Back Party.

We’ll be doing our party by hosting the Kids + Children’s Festival in our Sq. Hill/Greenfield parking lot!

Thanks to our generous co-sponsors at PNC Bank, Highmark, JLL, and Colliers International, we’ll be hosting lots of  family fun in our parking lot!

Family Fun

At the Kids + Children’s Festival, we’ll be hosting a Face Painter, a Balloon Artist, two big Bounce Houses, the Bruster’s Ice Cream Truck, a table full of Eat’n Park Smiley Face Cookies, and more!

Live Music

We’ll also be hosting a main stage filled with great local music acts from 12 to 7pm:

12:00  Ellie Lee Oldfield

1:05  Snowdonia

2:15  Zach Keim

3:25  Sunburst Music House Band

4:35  The Electric Army

6:00 Eddie & the Bruisers

Ribbon Cutting

At sunset, just behind our Kids Plus office, and just a few feet away from the Kids + Children’s Festival, Mayor Bill Peduto will cut the ribbon that officially opens the new Greenfield Bridge.

We can’t wait for the party, but we really can’t wait for that!
