This 5-week childbirth class, presented by Kids Plus and taught by our friends at Bloom Birth Concierge, introduces you to the processes of labor and birth. You and a partner will have a chance to grow together in a warm, supportive environment as you try different laboring positions and hands-on comfort techniques.
The course covers lots of important topics, including: the last weeks of pregnancy; signs of labor; labor expectations; early, active and transitional labor; when to go to your place of birth; how to support a birthing person; laboring positions; comfort measures; breathing; pushing positions and techniques; immediate postpartum expectations; and the “4th trimester.”
A new 5-week series kicks off in March, May, and September 2019.
Registration is $250 per couple for the full 5-week session.
