New Mom’s Coffee

new-moms-coffeeBeing a new Mom, even if it’s not your first time, can be exhilarating. And exhausting. For either feeling, and for all the others in between, it’s good to know you’re not alone. And even better to get together with other Moms for friendship and support.

NMC Continues Virtually During the Pandemic!

If you’re a new Kids Plus Mom and would like to join… Go to the Squirrel Hill New Mom’s Coffee Facebook Group and ask to join.  You”l receive a direct message response from Kathy McGrath. Once you’re part of the FB group, you’ll be able to access the Zoom link for the virtual group.

* NOTE: Right now, we’re only admitting Kids Plus families into the FB group. When our in-person groups were suspended due to COVID-19, we received many, many requests to join. We can’t realistically keep up at this pace while keeping this space safe, ensuring that everyone is following the group policies and adhering to the true spirit of NMC. This change is only temporary.  We’ve always been proud to offer these groups to all moms and babies in our communities, and we will return to that model as soon as possibly. Thanks so much for your understanding.

That’s why we host our incredibly popular and empowering New Mom’s Coffee series.

Come (with your baby, of course) to these informal get-togethers to relax, have a cup of coffee, and share your thoughts, feelings, and experiences with other new Moms. Our hosts keeps things lively and comfortable, serving the coffee, brewing the conversation, and answering questions on everything from baby basics to new parent survival.

These great social events are FREE and open to all Moms with babies from Birth to 6 months. (You don’t have to be a Kids Plus Mom to attend.)

No tickets, no registrations, no worries. Come as you are, for as little or as long as you like, and enjoy some great coffee, conversation, and community. It’s all free, and it’s all for you.

Pay it Back/Pay it Forward

nmcdonateMany of the amazing Moms who’ve attended our New Mom’s Coffee series told us they’d like to be able to donate — as a way to pay it back, and also to pay it forward — to help new Moms just like them.

So we set up a simple, secure BluePay donation site. Every cent we collect will go directly to the support of new Moms, by helping to offset the cost of our New Mom’s Coffees. If you’d like to help us help new Moms, just click the link.

Other Mom’s Coffee Events

For Moms of babies 6 to 12 Months, we host Not-So-New Mom’s Coffee every week.

For Working Moms of babies Birth to 12 Months, we host Working Mom’s Coffee every month.

A Note About the Class

New Mom’s Coffees provide discussion and support for Moms. Information shared in the class does not, and should not, replace the care and advice you receive from your medical providers.
